Celebrating
our
third
season!

"Chapin, Carol, Jack, Zach, and the whole Giant's Foot Surf Nicaragua team,

What a great experience. Not only the surfing, surroundings, and accommodations, but also I really enjoyed hanging out with your crew. You helped put me in a state of mind that will last for a while. Each of you inspired me in different ways, from surf, to the food, to the camp, to the ways of life. I am happy you have such a sweet operation in such a beautiful place. It’s a great vibe and I hope to return to surf nicaragua with you guys again someday soon.

Continued good luck!"

Esquire Magazine's Restless Man Series wrote this about us....

"The whole experience takes me back to when I all but moved into the Burns brothers' beachfront garage/rec room. All I wanted that summer was a convenient place to stash my board, play a couple hours of Ping-Pong, leaf through old surf magazines, and raid the fridge at will. Was that asking too much? It was, in fact, for Mr. Burns. And though at Giant's Foot I'm paying for the privilege of surfing, loafing, eating, loafing, surfing, playing Ping-Pong, loafing, surfing, leafing through old surf mags, Giant's Foot Surf camp somehow re-creates that golden age of boyhood indolence and camaraderie with stunning authenticity."

I personally stayed at  the Gigante surf Camp with 12 of my best high school surf pals August 2006, and we surfed excellent waves two or even three times a day in peaceful uncrowded conditions. We had to research all of the existing camps very well as my guys are older, well traveled and not willing to put up with undesirable conditions.  I must say in all honesty that Jack, Zach, Chapin, Carol, Jerod, John, Paul and their entire staff did a marvelous and dedicated  job at every aspect of the surf camp and I would return in a minute.  I have surfed Mexico dozens of times, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Hawaii (many times) Morrocco, France, Spain, Indo and gotta tell ya that Gigante was one of my best trips ever.
