Transportation
Round trip transportation from the Managua International Airport (MGA) to Gigante, Nicaragua in an SUV or tour van. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive. Gigante is located on the coast of the Rivas province between San Juan Del Sur and Popoyo. The nearest city is Rivas (45 minutes).
Accommodations
Double occupancy room with A/C and private bath located directly on the beach at Playa Gigante.
Waves
Total surf transportation by sea. Our boat runs to the surf breaks from pre-sunrise dawn patrol until the sun sets. Distances range from 5 minutes to one hour depending on the wave being surfed. There’s even a sweet little left right in front of the house when conditions are right. We run 25 foot boats (6 passengers, 2 crew), with a Canopy, 115hp Suzuki 4 stroke, and all necessary equipment.
Meals & Drinks
Three well balanced meals are served daily (as well as dawn patrol cereal and coffee), camp-style. Unlimited soda, beer, and rum drinks are included. We try to combine local culinary traditions with more typical American cuisine. We also buy fresh fish from the local fishermen who bring in their catch daily. We eat 1 or 2 dinners per week at local restaurants.
Season Closer Special!
$800 per person, one week only
For the very last week of our season (September 22 through September 28) we are selling beds at $800 per person! You get the same all-inclusive experience you always do with GFS but with the added excitement of a roommate. One van will pick everyone up in Managua (airport or hotel) the morning of the 22nd, and drop everyone off at the airport the afternoon of the 28th. That’s $800 per person regardless of group size! Book now before all slots fill up. The Season Closer special only applies to our Intermediate/Advanced all-inclusive package. The Season Closer Special does not combine with any other offers.
Beginner/Intermediate Surfing and Yoga package
(Available year round)
$900 p/p Saturday to Friday ($100 airport transport fee for off schedule itinerary)
Pretty much the same deal as our all-inclusive tour, except you are taken to our softer beginner breaks by truck instead of our boat. Everyday starts with a lesson and surf session at Playa Amarillo with one of our English first language guides, surfboard included. Then you get a second surf session without instruction after lunch to practice for yourself (a guide still goes with to point out the take-offs and for safety). A yoga session option is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday instead of the second surf session if you need a break from the waves.
Airport transportation, meals, double occupancy rooms with AC and bath, and local beer, rum, soda, and water are all the same as our all-inclusive tour package. Only four slots available in the high season (March – September).
There is also a $30/day fee for children 12 and under due to the extra attention required (that they will receive) during the afternoon surf session.

Terms & Conditions
Please contact Bryce at reservations@giantsfoot.com before paying a deposit to ensure availability during your desired dates. Deposits for Giant’s Foot Surf packages are nonrefundable. In the event of cancellation, the deposit amount may be applied toward an available future surf package commencing within two years of the date of the initial deposit. Any price increases pursuant to this cancellation policy will be the responsibility of the purchaser. No refund will be issued in the event of late arrival or early departure from dates booked in advance. No refund will be issued in the event that weather patterns disrupt the ability to surf (i.e. getting skunked).
The remaining balance can be paid by either personal check or cash when you arrive at GFS.
